March 8th, International Women's Day, marks the start of the first annual Divinale: Women of Wine Week.
The Divinale festival brings together leading women in the wine industry under one roof to celebrate the diversity of influences that women have brought to bear on the traditional wine world. Each event will provide a vibrant, welcoming, and engaging environment where guests are entertained and educated as they celebrate women and wine with friends, colleagues and fellow wine lovers.
Proceeds from Divinale will be donated to Global Fund for Women, a nonprofit organization founded in 1987 to promote the economic security, health, safety, education and leadership of women and girls worldwide. All events are at City Winery on the corner of Varick and Vandam Streets in Soho.
