The Wine
"Intense aromas of apple and pear lead into hints of
melon and creamy butter on the palate in this refined
Chardonnay. The lingering finish is a lush balance of
sweet oak, caramelized sugar, and fruit."
- Ray Einberger, Winemaker
The Growing Region - Columbia Valley
Columbia Valley is the area that surrounds and encompasses the Yakima and Walla Walla Valleys. It's the largest of Washington State's valleys, with almost 11 million acres. The large acreage consists of a range of climates, allowing viticulturists to plant a range of grapes. Most wineries plant vines sparsely, which helps the vines survive the harsh winters. Very good wine for the price Thumbs Up

I really enjoyed this wine. First its a 90 point for $10, but reviews aren't every thing, so I had to try it. Starts with a very warm fruit taste of apples, pears, and melons, and turns into a slight oaky spice. Finishes warm and smooth. Even light weights can handle this wine. Highly recommended

I have to agree with Cynthia and her daughter. I tried two bottles on seperate occasions but just didn't have that creamy ,oaky ,fruity taste for me

I have to disagree with Cynthia, this is a good oaky and buttery chard.

hard as I tried, and my daughter agreed, we just couldn't get much in the way of fruit or any other traditional chardonnay taste from this wine.
